Ed Becker
Ed has been a leader in Mensa and other organizations for over twenty years. His positions in Mensa have included Treasurer and LocSec. He teaches for General Motors, the Engineering Society of Detroit, and Mensa.

Goals

After a presentation and group discussion, each participant will be able to:
  1. State where to get information about hosting gatherings.
  2. Tell the basic rule for working with hotels.
  3. State what help is available to review contracts before they are signed.
  4. Tell two key concepts about refreshments for a gathering.
  5. Explain why a volunteer coordinator is needed, and what they do.
  6. List how to seek and involve new volunteers before the gathering.
