Ed has been a leader in Mensa and other organizations for over twenty years. His positions in Mensa have included Treasurer and LocSec. He teaches for General Motors, the Engineering Society of Detroit, and Mensa.

Goals

After a presentation and group discussion, each participant will be able to:
  1. State where to find more Mensa financial information.
  2. State the rule about deficit spending in Mensa.
  3. List three types of positive controls which should be in place.
  4. Explain the need for a paper trail for all revenue and expenses.
  5. State how often an audit should be done.
  6. List three characteristics to look for in a Treasurer.
