Presenter

Marghretta McBean, Region 1 Vice-Chair
Marghretta McBean has been Region 1's Vice Chair, representing New England, most of New York and Northern New Jersey, since July 2003. This is her first LDW as an organizer. She firmly believes that while leadership can be taught, leaders are born, but may be made.

Goals

At the conclusion of the workshop, using the Mensa Proctor Handbook, participants will be able to:
  1. List four benefits to the local group for developing a regular testing program.
  2. Describe the role of the LocSec and ExComm in ensuring testing is available all over the local group's area.
  3. Define the qualifications and responsibilities of the Proctor / Testing Coordinator.
  4. List the qualifications and role of a Proctor.
  5. Tell how prior evidence is processed and what is required as proof when submitting group tests and when submitting individually administered tests.
  6. Explain the importance of prescreening.
  7. Go over how children can be admitted to Mensa.
  8. Discuss how National Testing Day can be used as a starting point for a regular testing program.
